SCOPE OF SERVICES
Exterior envelope consulting for the university’s Center for Translational Research and Education building.

The project consisted of various systems, which included a highly engineered, unitized curtain wall integrated with sunshades, mechanical operable windows, high-performance vision glass combined with translucent day lighting, and terra-cotta panels supported by outriggers from the curtain wall.

The curtain wall surrounded a complex footprint consisting of segmented construction, various corners, and transitions into a radius stainless-steel panel system that surrounds the auditorium. The end result was sensational.
